Saban loses to someone almost ever year. He's not unbeatable. It's frustrating to see people act like we can never do it. Just because Dooley and [itch bay] sucked doesn't mean we couldn't hire someone capable.

Has a losing record against Saban

Last year was really his only legitimate win against him. 2013 was a total fluke.

A single victory against Saban is honestly success, given the bar.

He’s lost to about every decent SEC program except us.

He’d have been Ok. Certainly fine given how bad the SEC East became. But hiring OK is not why we moved on from Fulmer. Sights should have been aimed much higher. We just happened to throw a Hail Mary into the latrine on Dooley instead.

2013 was a legit win. Score was tied before that last play. Auburn played toe to toe with them.

Meh, They played well, but if that game went to overtime like it should have Bammer wins.

    Same record as Freeze...

I think Kifffin could have eventually beat him a couple of times had he stayed and built the program.

Yes. He was by far our best chance to beat him.

Kiffin left in mid January, which is well past peak hiring season. There wasn’t a better option than Cut who would’ve taken the job, IMO, especially since it was clear that Hamilton had no interest in using an interim coach for 2010 (which may have been the best choice at that point).

I think Georgia’s only win against him was his 6-6 first team. My memory could be serving me wrong, though.

Sadly I can't remember the last time UT was a decent SEC program
