We live in a post-truth era.

 

The common statements of "no college player is worth 13 million" and "sad that players are just picking a school for the money" regarding the ex-Florida signee are completely misreading the matter. No one should make an agreement (paying 13 million) that they won't keep. Out of principle, he should go somewhere else even if UF remained the highest bidder given that they wasted his time under a false pretense. And if a player picked UF just for money, that is again on UF. If you aren't selling them on more than the money but rather future opportunities and development on and off the field, that's again NOT on the player.

It is like some people want to treat 18 year olds like commodities to be bought and then complain when the commodities turn out to be thinking beings with their own agendas. Don't make promises you can't keep and if you are selling something based on price point alone you can expect people to make decisions based on that alone.

You can't get them all, but you can also not break your word or blame a guy for looking out for himself. JEEEEEEEEEEzum.

 

Must be nice to have the opportunity to negotiate with the NCAA on what rule charges they will file.

 

They’ve been mostly mediocre since Urban left. We just didn’t notice because we weren’t beating them until now.

 

They have no choice but to let UT off the hook if they ever want cooperation from schools again. There has to be some incentive to work with them or else everyone will treat them the same way Michigan is doing from now on.

 

I would treat the NCAA way worse. I mean WAAAAY worse.
