Is it illegal to have a rifle?

Sorry to derail, but why doesn't the 2nd amendment crowd pipe up for black people?

 

Kind of an odd report and very bad at describing what happened. The rifle might be completely inconsequential.

I'm not so sure that he didn't run after they spotted him not wearing the seatbelt and he got hauled in for the evasion.

He tried to evade police according to the report too. If you try to evade police and they find a gun in the car, they usually make sure the gun is yours

 

How? I have a rifle from the 1920's that my grandfather used to shoot small game for food during the Depression. How can i prove that it is mine? And why did they mention the color of the rifle?

 

Would they have mentioned it if it were a white rifle? I think not.

 

The joke is obvious, but I am genuinely curious.

 

Black is more assaulty. Harder to see at night. Only Navy Seals need black rifiles.

 

I think they're trying to imply it was an ar style rifle, at least that's what I just assumed.

A "no weapons" policy is clearly inadequate when you have players who are stating they are in fear of their lives... I'm not saying they need to be riding around with AR-15's in the back seat, but just decreeing that they don't need to be is not making the rent-a-car gangster disappear.

I think a better policy would have to do with how to report problems to police, how to avoid problems/situations, etc. And avoid blanket weapons policies altogether when they are so incoherent. Following the law should be sufficient.
