yup stanford won't fire him unless he has multiple straight losing seasons. they certainly won't fire him if he goes 6-6 and 7-5 for a couple of years.

 

Story on SMU this morning. So in '88 my graduate year, word spread to Memphis that SMU was having tryouts. We all new who Eric Dickerson and Craig James were and hoped to wear the SMU helmet for a couple days so 2 vanloads of us from memphis schools with zero D1 offers took off to go "walk on" at SMU, though only a couple guys had a chance. I need to look at that first roster to see the names and sizes.

 

South Carolina heating up just in time for us to play them. Typical.

the supposedly unbiased guy in the booth is a clown. Regarding the hold, he said " the player being held seemed content". Wtf does the players supposed being content while running 17 mph have to do with anything. Then he said he'd have to rewatch but the false start looked like he may have jumped the snap.
