Fleck is a good coach. Quirky, yes but he also carries himself like a real coach IMO.

 

I doubt he’s building a foundation of lies that ends up causing 1/3 of his guys to leave the program next season.

 

I don’t understand this comparison. Fleck has actually proven that he can build programs. Butch rode the coattails of Brian Kelly. The “row the boat” thing actually has meaning to it, unlike Butch’s sophomoric catch phrases.

 

That admiral is very high on fleck and says he’s the real deal and not just using a slogan

 

I get Fleck ain't for everybody, but dude can straight coach. He ain't all fluff.

Looking at depth chart and they currently have one senior starting. Expectations will probably be high next year.

 

Fleck was at Westerm Michigan when I lived up there and he was coaching lights out. You d tell he was a hell of a coach but he’s strong with the catch phrases. It isn’t just row the boat. After butch there was no way I could take it again for a while.

 

Just checked the UGA/Auburn drive chart, and Georgia scored touchdowns on every single drive that went more than 16 yards. I guess that’s how you win with less than 300 yards of offense. Geez

I know the “elite” thing he does is annoying as hell, but he gets results. If they win this week against northwestern and everything else on the B10 plays out as expected, then Minnesota is going to go to the Rose bowl for the first time in nearly 6 decades.

 

Yeah there had to be some crazy Florida vs UK/Vandy lines in the 90s.
