Scott Frost needs to do the same. Both of them brought pretty much their entire staffs fromHouston and UCF. Hopefully they’ve learned a lesson that certain guys just aren’t cut out to coach at a P5 level.

Yeah he’s a good coach. BC is just a tough job nowadays. It used to be a pretty solid coaching gig, but the move to the ACC has really hurt the program. They should be happy with a consistent 6-7 win team.

Dumb for firing him? He’s gotten progressively worse every year, 6-6, 5-7, 4-8. Honestly he should have never had the interim tag removed. I’m sure Norvell will be the first call they make.

 

How much of that decline is due to the restrictions of their probation? With what he had, he had them playing competent football and they looked to finally be building something with his '19 recruiting class. I don't understand ditching him at this point.

So apparently Luke has a $17 million buyout. It’s mind boggling to me that a lot of athletic directors don’t seem to understand the meaning of leverage.

edit: apparently that’s the buyout for the entire staff, but Luke still gets about $7 million.
