That is some terrible officiating. Clearly the ball was downed.

 

So there is some rule in nfl or college in regards to the receiving team being able to pick up and run with a touched ball by the kicking team. Always been a weird deal. May be pro. But in college you are down with the knee, so no reason for the ball not to be dead. Ref, who will be demoted, starts to wave his hands then stops

As an addendum, how Penn St even still has a program is beyond me

 

Especially given that you burned a timeout. To call that shit? Guessing Auburn would have rather had 40 more seconds to work with on that last drive.

 

That was a remarkably poor showing for Derek Mason. Easier to put it on Bobo for that trash play call but Mason was definitely worse
