Probably so. I still think Dobbs could be decent given some time but as you stated, if Ferguson is not that level then UT has QB issues for 2 more years.
It'll be Ferguson IMO. I think he'll start from game 1. Dobbs will be a good QB, but he's not there yet.

I have no problem with Butch. I known a ton of people that have had interactions with him. He's a great/genuine person that is making strides to make us competitive. Saying that, his personnel decisions on and off the field have been laughably bad.
They didn't want to put in the legwork to find the Emmanuel Moseleys and Jakob Johnsons of the world, and he didn't mind going head-to-head with Kentucky in fighting for Clemson's table scraps.
