    I think as an artist you should never try to be someone else or fill another's shoes. the greats of past generations will never be replaced for what they did, but still doesn't take away from what the others are doing in an era that's so mainstream and cookie cutter.

    We are essentially in agreement, I like both, I met Stapleton at Bristol Rhythm & Roots, and he is a great talent not cleansed by the suits.

    For whatever reason I've never been a big Isbell or dbt fan despite never hearing a song by either i didn't like.
