Fumblin' Foster had no excuse not to leave UT as the all-time leading rusher. He's as lazy an "activist" as he is a football player.
I'm just imagining someone writing up a list of everyone who knelt and updating it weekly. When you're pulling for Berry and the Chiefs and someone gets a pick six, make sure you check the jersey number and see that it's not Marcus Peters before you celebrate. I just think the whole thing is stupid. Black people in this country have a right to be upset, and I'm not going to sit here and make rules about how they should properly express it, considering it's completely nonviolent.
That's not in any way contradictory. I think both are overreactions and both people have a right to do them.
More stupid. I don't care what you do or your inventory. Until one of them offers something that isn't completely senseless for support, I'll assume them morons and not pull for them.
I don't think it's a coincidence that two of the biggest dipshits in all of football are the ones that decided this was a good idea.
I don't really have a problem with the gesture, though it's counter-productive on 9-11, but you're right, it doesn't help when the main faces participating are morons.
completely agree with you. i'm not handwringing over the protest. I don't think it helps or brings light to anything, but it's pretty minor in the grand scheme of things IMO.
