Why are you a _______________? (republic, democrat, conservative, liberal, libertarian, etc)

Figured we could get some good dialogue on this subject because of the population of this board.

Libertarian because the only thing that matters if freedom. I should be able to choose how I want to live my life and use my resources as I see fit.

Simply put, live as free as humanly possible.

Libertarian. Mainly because of money. Let me decide what to do with the money I earn. Not too vested in any social issues, but I default to whatever side of the issue grants more freedom without the risk of infringing on someone else's.

Republican, with willingness to entertain libertarian ideas. Evangelical, but willing to use other means than legislation to address social issues.

This is not an attack and nothing personal against you. The latter statement frightens me to no end. I am as big a bible thumper as there is out there. The government has no business in proselytizing. Christians in general are too lazy to go next door to their neighbor and talk to them as a human being.

Also, why in the world would any one want to give up the freedom of marriage to government to define? Why?

    Absolutely maddening.

    Pro-life Libertarian here.

I just want to be left alone, not have my neighbors loot me and raise my family.

Immigration platform is archaic. I work with immigrants and self deportation is absurd. Give the kids papers. Stop deporting Parents.

Next their belief government is evil ideology is fringe theory. Goverment built this country but small business keeps the heart pumping.

The christian right is pyscho Nuff Said

Science is not bad nor debatable at its foundation.

They are living on fear and hate right now.

I can go with most of what you say, but government built this country?

    You are better than this.

Because we are. . . the government.
    We are. . . jurisprudence.
We are. . . the volition.
    We are. . . jurisdiction.

Haven't listened to that in years.

I've already discussed that enough on this forum. Suffice it to say that it doesn't really matter what you personally doubt. It is what he said. Sorry it wasn't more politically convenient.
