Spring practice

Jeremy Banks not seen at practice today. Maybe we can play a 5-0-6

 

Instead of the 3-0-4 we had been running with him.

Looks like having no lbs may sting. Who is that rb?

Calbert and Wright at tackle, Mays and Spraggins at guard with Carvin at center is a pretty good oline. Imagine leaving them there and not switching guys in and out every series

 

I think they should flip them strong side/weak side. That should work.

having to coach the little things like balance, overextension, footwork, etc. I like the tone though and what they are seeing they have to coach up, versus whatever bullshit our qb's have not been taught the last few years.

 

If there was a lot of talk about there being great continuity at QB coaching, I'd be scared.

 

I've got to admit, I'm looking forward to watching the offense this fall.

 

Good to have a coach who practices what he preaches.

Last 3 years we knew who our qb was and how shitty, predictable, low energy and robotic the offense would be. Makes it more enjoyable to know we will at least be entertained and be slinging it around.

 

It's spring ball, Banks is out with surgery and two linebackers are suspended. I'm not worried about Albright getting reps

 

I think the RBs and WRs are going to surprise people.

 

It may be that if we are consistently scoring, the defense just needs to be aggressive and we look a lot better. From under performing to over performing.
