I fully expect to start seeing guys become "injured" when they know their draft stock is high enough.
I noticed and heard him say that yesterday. Thought it ironic that the mind set seemed in the same place as Botch, it must be a northern thing or Kill was one of the "coaches" he has been talking to.
I think Reeves-Maybin isn't going to get a great grade, but staying another year isn't going to help him, either. He's slightly undersized and he's not a guy that takes on blocks and beats them. He's a guy that relies on speed and quickness. Sutton is a 3 year SEC starter who's played at a high level. He should go. I would be surprised to see Kamara go unless he gets a great draft grade.
I was hoping to have him back because the coaches finally realized how it really made the defenses hard to call when he and Hurd were both on the field. I am less surprised though, I see a lot of Charlie Joyner in Kamara, maybe pro scouts have too..
What's Maybin's situation? Going to be very surprised if he grades out high enough to feel overly good about it.
He's never going to grade out very high, he's undersized and isn't great at taking on blocks. He's got family members that play professional sports.
