Someone mentioned that Hyams said this morning he thought they'd all be back. Confirms that all 3 are gone
If any of them are projected first round (Sutton), they should go with our blessing. I don't know that it benefits Kamara to go, but then I can see him thinking he isn't ever going to be the feature back here anyway. I have no doubt Maybin is a future pro, I have no idea whether he'd benefit from another year.
I don't see how he could individually accomplish anything next year he didn't do this year. Really sucks we decided to not play him at LB as a freshman and just let a couple of other converted safeties continue to to suck it up their senior seasons.
Rumor is that he wants to be a DE and coaches want to continue to mold him into a quicker DT to change pace with the big heavies (my understanding)
Are we trying to get a left handed center to snap right handed again? The last time that happened...well ddiapos
Kamara would be dumb not to leave this year. He just showcased his skills against a highly ranked defense and could ride a poor RB class to a 3rd round pick.
And for the most part, RBs are not high draft priorities these days. Go make some cash while your body can still do it.
Family is not happy about what the coaches want to do with him. They are definitely considering their options right now. I don't think either way has been decided though. I would look for LSU to be a possible destination though Nothing groundbreaking obviously.
Philips and Dormady leaving should raise some red flags to people. He's been making some over the top promises and not following through.
