And then teams 10/11/12 will start to [itch bay]. But yeah, I imagine when they see the TV revenue from this 4 team playoff, they will be all over a more "fair" 8 team playoff.

I would be fine with 8, but make it so that the league champs get in automatically. This would remove the desire to play a bunch of patsies every year.

I think that's what you will eventually see. Power conferences with automatic bids. One guaranteed spot to an outsider. Two at large spots.

I woke up leaning TCU. But I really do think it's awfully close to a 50-50 between those two. The committee needs something to hang their hats on with this fourth pick. But it's hard given the comparative resumes.

 

I could see them putting OSU in and taking TCU out just so they don't have to hear anymore [itch bay]ing about TCU and Baylor's head to head game.

 

Putting in OSU means a traditional Rose Bowl matchup if they slot them ahead of FSU.

 

They all campaigning this morning. There will be major drama later today.
