Damn that was an ugly game. I'm going to chalk this one up to the team not taking this one seriously which is troubling and it happens but you never want to see it. The boys better take this one to heart and get locked in this week for the trip down to the swamp.
Beasley is really good If the DBs were coached to turn their heads to find the ball, there's two less pass interferences and a few more picks Milton wasn't good but receivers have to catch the ones that hit them in their hands Game went to shit before it ever started, lightning delays because it's storming in Pigeon Forge is dumb
Think teams will see when we go quick they can run blitz right at the rb as we aren’t using between the hashes and middle of field 5-15 yards
I think the consensus you can essentially plug in guys at WR in this offense was always silly. You still need dudes, especially ones who, you know, catch the ball. Thornton has to be a guy who makes, at least, half of the plays Hyatt made, ideally.
Our inability to hit a pass is a problem, and it’s on both Milton and the receivers. The struggles with the running QB is a bit of a problem, though not really consistently. Pretty bothered by our defense not playing with pride in the fourth quarter. For all that they had a couple big plays, they never came especially close to the end zone in the first three. The “maybe we’re not as good as we thought” nerves have only increased. The “oh no we’re going to [uck fay] up the Florida game again, aren’t we” nerves are hopefully peaking.
he’s built unlike most of our freshman lbs have been but has only played lb for a year. He’s not ready. Herring not ready either. And 40 pulled the qb for a first down instead of running through him
