We are going to at times be 6'5-6'6 320+ on the DL. The size and athleticism reminds me of Henderson/Haynesworth days.

 

It's definitely going to have a difference on the run defense

 

Starting to worry that Solomon may not get eligible, hopefully it works out, Really need him.

 

If not, Tennessee is just loading up for a run at the SEC title in 2020

Sounds like a torn ACL. Hate it for the kid. A solid year for him would have gotten him drafted for sure.

We badly need Solomon eligible now, but someone that hasn't been talked about much that seemed to have a big upside coming out of high school is Greg Emerson. I know hes been injured, but we really need him to stay healthy and contribute at a high level. Simmons was gonna play before, but he might get a lot of time now.

 

Emerson is healthy, finally.

 

Which is good. I feel like we have some talent at the position for sure. It's just that alot of it is unproven at the college level.

A lot of potential, just not any experience. I know they aren't going to be putting in the same 3 guys for 90% of the defensive snaps, so they'll be better
