Exactly what I thought when they hired Crean. Its like they feel obligated to hire bad coaches down on their luck.

 

They did it with Crean so I imagine they will rise to the occasion.

He's a good coach. He could go to a school where basketball isn't a big deal and pull a Cutcliffe at Duke until retirement.

He's also a great guy. His take on coaching his kids needs to be blasted over the loud speakers before every little league game

 

He's one of the better coaches in the NBA, I don't see him leaving for a merely pretty good college job even if he had it before
