Lofton didn't need to run around a million screens to get open like Henderson does.

    So?

Meaning he could actually create his own shot.

You don't know what "create your own shot" means.

I was thinking the same thing. He's in full troll mode, no point in even responding.

Right - keep thinking that, kiddo.

Why wouldn't he continue to believe something that is completely accurate?

That's it, right there. End of argument. I've played and coached basketball, and Lofton is the better player. However, to say Lofton could create his own shot is iffy at best.

Lofton didn't have to run around 6 screens in one possession just to get open. Henderson has to run around the court like a madman.

Moving without the ball is another knock on Lofton. Most of his "created shots" were a result of such an odd release. Great shooter. Great kid. Marginal athlete.

Why can't people treat Chris Lofton like the player that he was? He was an excellent college player who played a part in reviving Tennessee basketball. He's not NBA caliber and obviously never will be. Some people will see that as a criticism against Lofton, instead of just a factual statement. I'm not talking about anyone in particular, but just a general observation I've acquired from people over the years.

No one said he was an NBA caliber.

...because Lofton is black & Henderson isn't.

I'm late, but just cutting to the chase.

Just out of curiosity, has Lofton ever done anything like this?

EDIT: tried to post it where it started at the correct time, but evidently that is beyond my skill. Start at 1:20 mark.

Pfff! Lofton had numerous reverse dunks. Hell, he even had a 360 against Memphis.

Yes - in high school. Didn't do anything like that at UT though.

Is there film of this somewhere?

I know a bit about Kentucky basketball, and it always seemed to me that the wrap on him was, "Great shooter, just not that athletic."

Or did you just make that up?

4.6 40 and 33" vert. Decent athlete - just not an elite one at the college level.
