Betting the cubbies the past couple days has kept me in the black this week in LV.

 

Mike Matheny is a good manager.

 

He's good at managing W's into L's.

 

I hate this team this year. Guess I'm spoiled, but I just don't like this team.

 

They needed a year like this. Fat & happy. all the way up the chain

 

I'm not going to believe their season is over until it's official. You all know better than this.

But I'm with you all on the hate part. In fact, in addition to hating this year's team, I already hate next year's team.

 

This ain't the same team as the past. Wednesday was the breaking point. Lose a game 11 to 1 in thick of wild card race and they seemed to care more about anthem staredowns and the rookies dressing up post game.

 

Dude, y'all won 83 games one year en route to a WS title.

I don't rule anything out.

 

That team didn't really put its opening day lineup on the field until the postseason

 

I've been expecting a year like this since pujols left

 

I at least thought Mike Leake would be an ok 4/5 starter. He's been trash

 

Ok, now I'm onboard with you guys.

 

Too much of a country club atmosphere coddling everyone. Injuries didn't help, but they weren't the cause.

 

That's a start.

Need pitching now

 

It really depends on who you are. If you're not one of Mike's guys there's not much coddling

 

What are they paying Fowler?
