we are still talking about arguably the greatest player of our generation. I understand McGuire getting the shaft because of PEDs, though personally I think everyone was doing them, but if barry was a nice guy we'd be hearing about how he was still a hall of famer before the PEDS and things of that variety.
I'm going to say some things that some people might not want to hear, but, the baseball hall of fame is crap and baseball was 100 times better when everyone was on the juice. Sorry
this man speaks the truth. and can we get a ****ing pitch clock? who the **** can sit through these games anymore?
I'll believe it when I see it. I'm sure the owners don't want it to hurt concession spending and tv ad money.
TV ad money would be the same. Still same amount of commercials. Eh, length of game is a problem. Owners realize it. I expect the pitch clock sooner rather than later.
I like slow pitch softball, I loved playing until I got old. There was something about those guys hitting a ball 500 feet. Stanton from the Marlins can knock the dog crap out of the ball.
Out here in the middle, where the center's on the right. And the ghost of William Jennings Bryan preaches every night.
The need to up the scoring. Maybe make a scored run, like, 6 points. And after each run, mix it up, and let someone do something besides scratch their balls and be pusses. Like kick a ball, over a certain section of fence. Maybe give'em a point for making it. But then, with all that scoring, you gotta up the defense. Maybe let them tackle base runners. And to be safe, they should all be wearing pads. Helmets, too. There's hope for baseball yet!
And the closest that Barry Bonds will ever get to the HOF is his asterisked-branded baseball, or if he buys a ticket. Not that I'm not rooting for his admission - nothing would please me for than for baseball to enshrine "the greatest player of a generation" into their HOF. Hell, I might even make a trip, just to watch his induction in person.
