Just talked to Kathryn, the Casting Director, about working tomorrow because I had told her my son was interested in working and she wanted him to come in. He hurt his back Saturday while helping me cut up some trees. I offered to come in in his place, but she told me they couldn't use me in the scenes to be shot tomorrow because I was too prominent in one of the scenes I was in on Friday. She said the Director has plans to use me quite a lot in the five days that I am already scheduled. I wonder if I should consider hiring an agent? BTW, there is to be a Premier showing of the movie in Bristol.
RB, did you get to say "Git overah here June and help me sing 'is song!" and then break into a stirring rendition of "Jackson"?
It is an odd thing Mike, I have had a number of females tell me hey would like to do a duet of "Jackson" with me, but when the opportunity arises to do it, all but two have backed out, and one of the two just stood there and could only sing about a third of the lyrics.
Jeff is the founder of Hundred Acres, and one of my closest friends. I will see him Monday evening. We are doing several gigs with just the two of us.
This deal just keeps getting sweeter. I got an email from the casting director telling me not to park in the Extra's lot, (it's about 200 yards from the building), that I will have a reserved spot near the door. I wonder if asking for a chair with my name on it might be a bit cheeky.
Fantastic! Now I know 4 people who have been in movies, RB,Kevin Nash,Staley Colvert (my dentist from UT) and Richard Kiel!
