Sounds like Briles wants his guys bc he doesn’t have a traditional play book (as in plays on paper) and would have to spend a lot of time teaching a new staff as opposed to having his guys come in and get it going. At least that is what VQ is insinuating

 

Maybe it's the stocked roster, or maybe the easier schedule, or maybe the state full of top athletes. Maybe.

 

I haven't looked into him much. He seems like a big step away from what Pruitt wants to do.

I'm not at all sure about Yurcich. They've got mediocre numbers in a league where no one is playing defense, and who knows how much of that offense is his. Like was said earlier, we needed a dynamic offensive guy. This screams safe to me.

 

FSU's roster is in much much much better shape than ours, ESPECIALLY for Briles' offense.

 

Only big league experience is 2013 to present at Ok St.

He's a gamble IMO.

 

They were 5-7 (3-5).

It ain't much if any with their schedule.

 

Their offense scored less against the Gators than ours did.

 

Six years seems enough.

 

You don't go 3-5 in the ACC with that "much" talent on hand.
