I've asked myself many times how Jefferson/Hamilton/Washington would have approached modern issues had they had the ability to see the future.
My cousin-in-law is Mexican-American. He is uber conservative, pro-second amendment, pro-life, voted for Trump and uses the term w****** to describe illegals. Because he is Latino, he gets away with saying things about other Latinos that would have the rest of us banned, fired or run out of society. Two ladies I worked with in corporate America were from Panama and the Dominican Republic. Not only were they Latina but they also had African roots. I found it quite humorous but they hated "Mexicans" not just illegals and openly talked about it. The rants they would get on were epic. With the level of offense it would cause, I would say even they would be fired today.
I’m often staggered by the number of people on assistance that want to get rid of government assistance (at least for everyone not them).
