Nothing to shocking, at first glance.

Slightly surprised that Eddie Johnson isn't there, but I wouldn't put him in front of anyone on the forwards list

I'm not a soccer fan at all, but watching the USA win a World Cup is something I want to see before I die.

At first glance, the 7 whom I think, or want, to be left off the final roster are Davis, Evans, Goodson, Wondo, Corona, Parkhurst and Yedlin. I like Yedlin, but he's a season or two away. Green will be very good, in my opinion, and will perform well in the lead up to the cuts, unless his injury becomes a problem.

Pretty much where I am at.

Man I feel for Eddie though, he was great at times during qualifying, but he would be a liability in the actual Cup

Whatever happened to that kid who was a media darling about 7 years ago or so? I'm not the keenest observer, obviously

    Adu?

Eddie made his bed by being a total douche in Seattle and then stinking up the joint in DC when "he got paid".

Adu has bombed everywhere he has played and is currently without a team. Dude has talent, but can't put it together. Hell, he's still only 24.

Agreed. It is what it is. And Klinnsman wants to make a mark. No reason to think EJ can help in that endeavor given how shitty he's been in club play.

He's been a serial bed shitter. Roster spots are too precious to waste on bed shitters with potential.

I'm 23. Assuming I live a normal life span, I'd be shocked if I don't see it happen.

I mean, it could happen. But I wouldn't be shocked at all if it didn't.

Something I didn't mention is that I have a really bad sense about the prospects of this team in Brazil. We peaked last year and a lot of these guys aren't getting a lot of time or solid play at their clubs (Altidore,Diskerud, Donovan, etc.) or are coming off injuries (Johannson, Chandler, Green). Plus, they have a schedule from hell in the group stage. This may not go well.

We could easily get bounced in group play. Easily.
