Josh Dobbs's issues have been fixed and he is ready to be an elite SEC QB. The future looks very bright.
Franchise QB even. http://www.volnation.com/forum/tennessee-vols-football/268204-former-seattle-seahawks-coach-dobbs-chance-franchise-qb-nfl.html
I mean, in their defense they were referencing Kippy Brown's interview. And the first few comments I saw were mostly of the "love the guy, but I don't think he's NFL material" variety.
I do like Dobbs, I wouldn't be shocked to see someone use a 6th or 7th round pick on him, but I don't expect to see him be more than a clipboard holder if that
He could make a good receiver/backup QB combo. Some teams carry those as a 4th WR (5th WR being a special teams guy)
But that's just it, the OP was trying to build a strong argument by citing the KB interview as proof for Dobbs to be something great at the next level. Granted, that guy(OP) has a rep of being an idiot but it's still typical VN with thoughts that are just over the top, f'n ridiculous. There were some level headed comments in that thread though.
I think he could be pretty good in the CFL where the game is a little more open and he can use his legs, particularly if he can get below average accuracy. The guy is smart and can move.
Anyone pick up that KY WR/QB? Not meaning that as a dig on you. Rather, it's a dig on one of the last 2 shitty coaches we've hired.
It wouldn't be the first time a quarterback has left UT, under the band director, and performed better.
