When should a church lose tax,exempt status?

Splits are soooo much fun. Been through one that started over a church bus of all things. Stupid. Preacher took it personal and started to compare his idea being questioned as the same persecution that Jesus endured. He had a big ego to say the least. Worked out fine because the wife and I attend the same church now where we didn't before. That's no way to go.

On topic, drinking is not a sin. Drinking to excess that leads to abuse/harm is. As always, jmo.

 

The word "excess" says it all, imo. It isn't rocket science.

 

I also witnessed a church split because the pastor went to vegas and used a slot machine..........he was run off and the church split.......sad.......I love vegas, proud of it!
