Thank you, sir. Really hoping that's not his actual wife writing that. "you need speed, depth and play-makers, NONE of which TENNESSEE had at the time Coach Heupel took over." A lot of those kids are still on the team. Probably not a great idea to shit all over them like that in a public forum.
All the random CAPITAL WORDS and downright MESSIANIC implications of COACH BANKS makes it totally a troll job.
I wrote the blueprint for this type of hoax and all caps used nonsensically is a great touch. I really hope that it isn't real.
"She" didn't call herself" Mrs Banks until another poster suggested it was his wife. I think referring to Tennessee as "us" before Banks was hired indicates that it probably isn't her.
I don't know how much of the problem is Banks/Martinez and how much of the problem is Martinez or roster issues alone. Banks has been a (mostly good) DB coach through most of his career... I see no reason why he can't pull double duty which is what most DCs do. The scheme wasn't good against USC but it wasn't good against Mizzou in the first half and we adjusted. The lack of halftime adjustments and refusal to even attempt to pressure Rattler is puzzling.
We did attempt to pressure him. They max protected, and we didn't break through. If they leave a RB and a TE in to block, and we send 6 or 7 on the rush, somebody has to beat their guy.
The DBs are a huge issue, but the inability to generate a pass rush with your front 4 just exacerbates that issue.
If you could snap your fingers and swap Banks for Janceck tomorrow, would you? Just a hypothetical, nothing more.
