Your family are practically my neighbors. I was in Rock Springs this a.m. heading to the doctor. I'm not surprised at all.

Doesn't ring any bells, but it's par for the course here. Sullivan County's mayor is a religious zealot that runs the county that way. And he keeps getting elected. Politicians that feel they need to mention the phrase "Christian Conservative" every fifteen words spoken are repugnant to me. Anyone that would use their religion for political favor are lower than snake excrement to me. Former US Rep. David Davis (Phil Roe beat him several years back in the R primary. Dems know better than to even try for the seat) was the absolute worst for that. He made me violently ill.

 

I don't think there's anything wrong with a school library having Christian materials. Like it or not it's part of the national heritage. By the same token it should be acceptable for them to have the Koran or whatever else. I don't see where either of these equates to the establishment of a state religion, which is really what "separation of church and state" is really about.

 

I'm pretty sure he's currently a Libertarian.

I think Jay was right with the fix. There's no way big G is voting for a Mormon.

No joke, I attempted to have a conversation with them after the Dooley pulling Bray stunt, but it was Dooley till the end.
