Vanderbilt only has 7 players on scholarship...This Volunteer team is weak- willed and aloof. The only way they are going to the Dance is with a SEC tournament championship and that ain't happening. Baseball season...

If he had more experience I'd jump on Will Wade at UTC. What he has done in year one with that roster is amazing!

 

I went to high school with that guy. He was a Senior when I was a Freshman.

One of the nicest people I've ever known.

 

The suck of it is, they won't even call Scott Skiles. And it won't be like they'll go, "Scott Skiles? Nah." His name won't even come to mind.

 

Bob McKillop is probably a Davidson lifer but is a fantastic coach as well.

I'd also call Fran Fraschilla.

I'd take a look at Bobby Hurley who is the HC at Buffalo.

Brad Brownell is a really good coach at a bad job at Clemson.

Also think Larry Shyatt is worth looking at.

 

Met him a couple of times at VCU; he started out running the Havoc stuff at UTC, didn't work for that roster, changed stuff up and has them rolling. He's a super nice guy and very well respected.

Take a look at guys with a decent smaller conference record who came to TBA and lost in the last couple of years. UT likes to hire guys who lost to their previous coach now.

 

Lewis Preston, come on down. Or maybe Eddie Payne.

The sad thing is I bet he's a guy Hart contacts if he makes a change.

 

Gene Hackman would be a helluva coach.

 

Heard on the radio that Cuonzo is, "confident that the SEC will definitely get 5 - and maybe 6 - teams in the NCAA Tourney".

Is he just that delusional?
