Update, different but did it in about 5 minutes longer than normal. Good power too.

Where will you be storing it? Lithium ion batteries need pampering to get the most out of them. Somewhere that doesn't get too cold or too hot. I am sure the manual tells you a range.

Sometimes folks just stick that stuff in a shed that gets over 100 in the summer and below freezing in the winter, then wonder why the battery won't hold a charge already.

Are they cheaper than gas models?

Saw something I have never seen before: a bear roadkill on the side of the interstate.

I take the batteries out of the mower and keep them stored inside when not in use.

Tad more expensive. Worth it to not have to deal with the maintenance and stuff.

I get it on post stamp size yards.

I mow right at two acres though so even the thought of a push mower makes me hive

2 acres would be a lot for most electric stuff. You'd need like an extra battery to swap out with. The tech isn't ready for you yet.

Need to get a sweet ass battery powered zero turn before I’m interested.

I’d buy a battery powered tractor in a minute though if they had one that would last all day.

Blistered up and back is toast but ready for beers. Thurs night pool and deck vs sun morn, 3 power washers later. Busted a motor on one and a hole in chord in the other 20200517_130537.jpg 20200517_130514.jpg

We just aren't anywhere near one that would last all day on a battery. Now, maybe they could make one where you can easily swap batteries out to charge one while on the other.

Otherwise, it'd be pretty expensive for something not used every day.

Trust me, I've tried every way in the world to justify a riding mower or zero turn and can't do it. If I had what you had I'd have something bigger. I have an acre surburban lot that I can mow in 50 minutes so it's perfect for me.
