Happy Father's Day to all who procreate

 

Wife and daughter were gone all day yesterday and son does his own thing most of the time. I had peace and quiet and got to sit and just watch golf amd read. This is all I ever want.

So. Going to get down to 38 tonight in Flagstaff

Made the mistake of taking to an air show. Fail. Now we're watching Star Wars. Better.

 

Going to see Top Gun Maverick in a private movie theater. Very excited.

So last week daughter's dance company competed in their big national tournament.

Her group dances won a 1st, 3rd, and 4th place as well as a "Showstopper Award" which was described to me as the dance the judges thought was the most fun and creative.

Her studio won top studio. She was a pretty excited girl this weekend.

 

Northern Arizona is giving easy Tennessee a real run for it's money as a claim to God's Country. Flagstaff has really captured my heart, as this place is beautiful.

I would never move here, as I am too conscious of the water pressures being put on this part of the planet. But I can see why you would want to live here.

 

So, we decided to get a Vitamix blender today

I was not prepared to be this impressed by a blender

That's some kind of canyon thing there. Pretty grand.

 

We fly out to Montana on Saturday. I really have no idea what to expect other than sore muscles and achy joints.

 

Every morning, pre-med with a handful of ibuprofen.

Hardest thing so far for me is doing anything at elevation. Wheezing like a person that has smoked for 50 years

 

Drink twice as much water as you think you need to. That helps a lot with elevation issues.

Avoid alcohol.
