Thanks. I agree he seems thoughtful, but more on the sunshine train at times. But lately I have seen more realistic posts from him. I saw Montrell PM him and wondered if he was going to try to move him over here while updating him on the Gruden status.

 

It's a shame that it went down the way it did.

But water under the bridge. I'm happy where things stand, of late.

 

Why is it changing so much? Is it too big and are the posters too simple minded to handle the old way?

Not talking about past Tenny, Hat, etc. experiences. The Nazi tactics on opposing points of view while letting pure crap happen with self appointed gurus is what I am talking about.

It is too big. The ratio of asinine posts to good posts has been inverted. I was up to my eyeballs in work and off the grid when the shit was hitting the fan. It did turn out for the best.....and everything changes.

It's a shame, it's like so many businesses as well. Get too big and lose your way due to inadequate quality control. Been there myself. I have learned that change can be a very good thing to embrace instead of run from.

It's a little deeper than that. There was a conscious effort by the mods over there to protect and support the "Everything's great, and if you don't think so you aren't a fan!" crowd, and the only way they could figure out how to do that was to tell everyone who disagreed with that sentiment to shut the hell up or get the hell out. That certainly hasn't seem to hurt the board's growth, but it slowly eroded any reason I had for visiting.
