Agreed. We can dislike the man all we want, but I don't see the purpose; borderline cruel.

if everything from yesterday is true, he truly got fired just yesterday, so I'd say no.

OWH is absolutely right. There is no fair way to make him do his normal press conference if he's axed.

If he doesn't want to do it, then he should quit. He can go to Hell, by the way.

For how he's treated everyone, I think it's very fitting.

I'm from the two wrongs don't make a right camp, but I just want him gone.

IMO, the local media called off the dogs after the USCe loss.

Kind of my point. When someone is going to pay you such a large sum of money to just go away, when they tell you to dance you dance. Forget all this "poor Derek" crap.

This is exactly where I am, VFB...and where I think the vast majority of fans are this morning.

I don't care who is the interim, I don't care about making a bowl, I just want him gone.....now.

To keep him beyond this point does border on cruel and unusual.

See, I very much want us to make a bowl, and actually think keeping him here lessens the chances of it. It's instrumental to fire him at this point.

I usually am of that ilk too. However, after what he done to Aaron Douglas, he deserves to be strung out and made as uncomfortable as possible. I have zero care for his feelings or how tough it will be on him. Whatever hell it will be for him to do the press conference is not enough.

    Why?

Monday pressers are part of his job, just like the Sunday coaching show. You go do your damned job until 1) you quit or 2) your employer dismisses you.

    that's the reason.

Hasn't yet been completed. Hence, you get up this morning, go do your job, collect check.

so you're saying that he wasn't fired internally yesterday or before for that matter?

Actually that would be cruel and unusual punishment for the fanbase
