The rumor was that it happened on the sidelines. No idea if that's true, but it doesn't seem totally preposterous given how the offense acted during that era.

 

I remember the Music City Bowl well. I was trying to inform the drunken Tennessee fans to stop celebrating because UNC was going to get an extra play. Dude next to me was taking his shirt off and screaming, the drunk guy in front of me was trying to hug me. I had saw the show before and knew what was about to happen.

The Clemson debacle was my last bowl game attended, and most likely will be my last one ever. I had the misfortune of going with a Clemson graduate, who all the way there begged me not to be an ******* when UT won, then did exactly that all the way back. Must be a Clemson trait.

 

If I was driving he would find himself standing at some gas station after I left him there while he was taking a piss.

 

Trying to decide whether to go. Tampa is just up the road after all.

 

I'm tempted to go just because Tampa. Would likely scalp
