Stats show that blacks are killed at a higher percentage of their population. There may be more shootings of white people, but white people make up a higher percentage, so that's expected.
Is it higher when you control for crime rate? Black homicide rate is 4 X higher than the rest of the population.
Let's examine this, though. Why is black homicide 4x higher than the rest of the population? Most likely answer: poverty. Ok, so why is the black population rate of poverty higher by percentages of population than whites? ... or is it?
And in those interactions, blacks are being shot and killed at a higher percentage than their interactions should suggest. Also, even though the homicide rate is higher, I'd be willing to bet you have a lower response rate. Gunshots in your neighborhood probably more likely to draw a response than gunshots in some others. So I'm not seeing much in all that.
Yea, couple hundred years of non-selective breeding and more than two generations of open enrollment in any university has really done a lot for our ability to take credit for our marginal success.
Who? Who gains when black people are abused by the "establishment?" Might have been easy, but you didn't bother yourself with answering.
Not killed at a higher percentage of stops. If we want to go down the silly sewer of percentage stopped and committing crimes, then we can undermine this entire awful point.
Poverty rate for blacks is 2.6x higher than non-Hispanic whites. So yea, that rate is pretty damn close to the homicide rate of blacks vs non-Hispanic whites. By percentage of population, that rate is even higher, as we'd expect higher percentages of whites in poverty due to being a higher percentage of the overall population.
