Looking to buy a home in the next year and haven't been thrilled with anything that I have seen while looking in Knoxville, recently started looking at homes in Maryville and I am fairly certain that I will be buying there. Any suggestions on any particular area? Schools?
All the MCS school are good. Elementary wise Foothills and Sam Houston are probably a tick better than John Sevier, but not by much. Both intermediate school are solid. But there is a big difference in city and country school wise. Good luck buying. Houses are going off the market as soon as they go on above listing price.
I can see why, most every house I have looked at is significantly better than what I saw in Knoxville.
Right. I want space, couldn't really find the house and lot for what I am looking to spend in Knoxville, it was one or the other. I've seen several homes in Maryville that I'd run to.
Ah. I was assuming you were referring to the community off Northshore Drive, which actually is fairly elegant. I see now that it is a trailer park in Maryville. I actually don’t live in either spot.
Seller’s market right now. You are a few years late. People were begging for your purchase five years ago.
Pretty much. It's crazy. One friend and one client both had their best years last year and they've both been realtors 20 years.
