Sometimes I look at the market in Knoxville and it blows my mind how enough people make enough money to support the prices. I feel the same way about Charlotte though. I think it’s a combination of me underestimating the extent to which parents are substantially subsidizing (for people my age and a little older) and the extent to which people are leveraging themselves.
I’m a poor lab tech, but meh condo or tenement in mechanicsville were my reasonable options in Knoxville
I know a guy that lives there. He’s a total [unt cay] though. First name starts with C Ends with ard.
You probably already know this but if you’ve been away a while the traffic is going to be way worse than you remember. But it ain’t Atlanta so I guess you still come out a winner.
Well, you may have a good realtor, and you may get lucky and beat everybody to the punch to find what you’re looking for. It could happen. Good luck though.
I jokingly told my wife a few days ago that we should sell our house because we could make a lot on it. She then reminded me we'd still have to buy one and she didn't want to be homeless.
Love it when there's a wreck on the other side of the road that backs up traffic going the opposite way for 20 miles for some reason. Or when people can't figure out how to merge onto the onramp to get onto Pellissippi. Or further North on Alcoa when people stop in the middle of the damn highway to let people make left turns.
My favorite thing about the wrecks are the other wrecks from people rear-ending people because they’re looking at their phones
