Probably about 5% of the reasons I changed jobs is because I didn't want to deal with driving to Knoxville every day once they begin to do all the renovations on Alcoa Hwy. It will be miserable. When a lady at church that is from Boston complained about Alcoa Hwy, I felt justified.
There's an argument that it would be good for South Knoxville and traffic flow. Madame Rogero's argument was that her focus was to improve Chapman Highway instead, and the last time I was through there..........it didn't look much changed.
I have reached a point where I won't venture out unless I have to because of all the idiots who are in their own little worlds paying attention to everything except the one thing they should be paying attention- actually driving. And I don't have to deal with anything remotely comparable to Alcoa Highway.
We have driven through Chattanooga two Fridays in a row for tournaments. I don't know how people live in that. I would kill a mother[uck fay]er.
