Honestly, I think this makes her look worse.

That said, I think the criticism she has gotten has been valid.

That may well be true, but I’m admittedly skeptical about her given reasons for identifying as Native.

Would you at least agree that most people in her situation would not have listed themselves as being of Native ancestry?

No, it would never happen so I would have blown it off. I don't think everyone would have though, it probably would have got some people in a panic.
