“And if the great evil orange man wasn’t running I wouldn’t feel compelled to run now either.” Reluctant politician = great marketing especially for a female candidate
Eh, I wouldn't want to defend this stand. https://www.independent.co.uk/voice...cement-husband-kiss-lgbt-rights-a8871166.html https://www.chicagotribune.com/subu...pete-buttigieg-public-kiss-st-0417-story.html https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/03/29/pete-buttigieg-husband-chasten-226335 https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/04/it-matters-pete-buttigieg-gay/586618/ https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc...eg-gay-democratic-candidate-president-n961861 http://www.newnownext.com/the-view-pete-buttigieg-first-gay-president/02/2019/ https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/11/pet...teran-who-says-he-can-beat-trump-in-2020.html There was a breitbart story in there too, but you would be very hard pressed to find a news story of his announcement or running that did not discuss his sexual preference. The only explanation for you only knowing because of the right is, no offense, you're a ditto head. Mayor Pete is running on being gay whether he wants, or is trying to, or not.
Of course him being gay is going to be a point of the campaign, whether he wants it to or not. That said, as long as he doesn't go "Vote for me, I am gay! Vote for me or you are a homophobe!", then I am fine with it. Obama was run as the first black President, whether he wanted to run it that way or not. It was just inevitable. I do not think that the country is ready for our first First Dude to be with Mr. President and not Madame President, though.
So, this is all part of some plan? Years and years of vehement denials only to accept the nomination in some back room deal at the convention? I think it would be charitable to say this is far fetched.
Did Hilary say she wanted to run for president immediately after her husband was president? What do you expect her to say? That’s the smart thing to do. Haven’t you guys told us how brilliant she is all this time? She gains zero advantage whatsoever showing public interest.
By whom? Not Obama. I think there was some out there, but a lot of it was overblown. And, there was certainly a lot to do with a part of the opposition being racist with a lot of the imagery, discussion, emphasis on using "Hussein" when pronouncing his name, "terrorist fist bump", secret Muslim talk, the birther movement, etc. There was all kinds of shit out there.
I love how you say there wasn’t a lot of it and then immediately tell us about all the supposed racism. The guy won back to back elections in virtual landslides, but we still hear this shit.
Hillary clearly was politically ambitious from the get go in how she operated as First Lady and was elected senator before her husband left office, very much the opposite of Obama.
Because it's true. Just because you don't want to hear the fact that this occurred doesn't mean it didn't happen. Hell, the birther movement, one of the most disgraceful episodes in recent political history, jump started the current president's campaign for the White House.
Seeing a few takes today about how Biden and Bernie are perfect foils for one another. It will be interesting to watch this play out over the next several months. They may ultimately knock each other out and allow one of the trailers to sneak in and take the nomination. We do love our drama.
If I say so? What the [uck fay]? It's a verifiable fact Clinton ran for office while she was First Lady and Obama made zero efforts to do so. Obama did regular First Lady stuff. Clinton had an office in the White House to advise her husband and insert herself into the push for universal health care. Again, I don't know how obvious it had to be. I don't know which is the more unlikely prediction, Tenny saying Hillary will be the Democratic nominee or yours of Michelle. Neither have a chance greater than zero.
Because he's white? Like what? Anything nearly on par as saying his birth certificate is forged and he was born in another country? Any by people running for the presidency?
Enough shit about what Biden has said and done over the years has already come out to derail his campaign. He’ll say something ridiculously stupid eventually and that will be it.
