I trust Jimmy Hyams ability to evaluate football players about as well as I trust his ability to judge gumbo. Milton has got his issues, no questioning that. All I'm saying is let's see how she flys on Saturday. I think our defense is the hot ticket right now so as long as we don't turn the ball over this game is going to be a good one. IMO of course

I'd also like to see a few wrinkles like putting Dee Williams out there for a screen or two.

Technically I believe Cooper can return. Need to get religious in the portal. I don’t like the schedule next year either

Playing around with DALL-E this morning... for some reason, it decided to give Smokey a tie and I can't get it to erase. Overall, I like it!

So I think this game is obviously interesting because it's the opposite of last year's game. But I think people are really lost about what defines this game. Tennessee's rushing attack vs Bamas front 7, the QB battles vs each other's pass rush. I think Tennessee finds a way to get the ball to it's TEs and RBs in the pass game for around 100 yards. Alabama's DBs got abused last year. Nick Saban is a DBs guy. All off-season they've simmered in that performance and I'm sure Saban has continually used it as motivation. We don't need Jalin Hyatt numbers from our WR corps but if we can't get 150 from them it's gonna be a long long day. And I just can't see it. Not this week.

So look, in the long history of the rivalry, you could get rich on just betting on whoever won last year

Take from that what you will

James Pearce has a chance tomorrow to put himself in the conversation with Al Wilson and Derek Barnett as defenders that have won us a rivalry game. He could live in their backfield tomorrow.
