Terry Beasley of '70 and '71 Auburn teams. He and Pat Dye dominated college football sports reporting. Suicide

Just saw on Twitter where someone had shared a cut from Rocky III. Weathers was better in those movies than he ever got credit for.

Ugh, this one sucks for me. Should’ve been a cowboy was one of my favorites growing up. Bunch of good drinking songs.

Had no clue he was even sick. Horrific news to wake up to. What a legend.

The song he famously wrote in just minutes on 9/11 perfectly captured the raw emotions and sentiments of the entire country at the time.

I just want to know who "How Do You Like Me Now?" was specifically written to.

Odd about Toby Keith is fire seemed to follow him. His golf course, tour bus, restaurant and a home in Brentwood all had fires.

As a kid who was raised in a more of CMT than MTV household growing up I always really enjoyed how Toby Keith made hilariously cheesy and light hearted music videos. The Beer For My Horses music video with Willie Nelson was such a classic growing up in Nashville during the hay day of Toby Keith's popularity. I can't believe Willie Nelson is still with us and Toby Keith is not anymore.

"As Good As I Once Was" is another hilarious Toby Keith music video from that era. Dude always seemed like he had a really fun time with life.

Also, this beautifully sad song he did on the back 9 of his career hits a little different this morning. Damn, today's news really sucks.

Nashville has had a lot worse eras of country music recently than the 90s/early 2000s era that exposed me to the genre in my formative years. "Nashville" was in a much better place in the country music realm when artists like Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Dixie Chicks, Vince Gill, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, ect were the cornerstones.

I’ve come around on red dirt country and some other stuff that isn’t Nashville but I hated all that stuff you mentioned back then and I still can’t stand it now
