Well, the street lights came on for a few minutes. That was about the extend of the excitement here.

 

Also, I'm still pissed it was cloudy when Halley's Comet visited in 86.

 

It has gotten pretty dark here, like when there is a lot of smoke from a forest fire but there is no smoke. The light between the leaves is pinwheeling.

 

No rapturing activity. Guess I will need to mow.

 

But I didn't pay my mortgage this month and partied. Damn.

My advice to folks when/if readying for retirement - try a gradual FT > PT > GONE approach.

The anxiety is real. I'm now on my 4th week of 3 on 4 off, and I'm still struggling. And that's with keeping myself busy doing work around the house. When those last 2 of the 4 off days come around I can't shake the feeling I need to be working. It's difficult to relax at all.

It does seem to be getting better, but it's legit. My BIL retired in February cold turkey and has had a rough go of it. He's just now getting better.
