I realize Super Bowl chances have not came along too often for the Skins lately, but to send RG3 out there the past few weeks and today is sad. You would not send your best RB out there on one leg.

I like RGIII, but this is why you take Luck over him every time. Running QBs will look great, but simply take too may hits over time.

RGIII is not a "running QB." He is a QB that can run.

OL couldn't block for shit.

 

He really got punished. I felt sorry for him.

 

A gimpy RG3 looks like it will be a common sight going forward if they don't keep him in the pocket. The threat to run at any time is already on the defenses mind. He can throw the ball, if I were the coaches I would be keeping him in the pocket more.

Oh and I'd take Russell Wilson over either of them.

 

I have found myself wondering what the shelf life of the new generation mobile QB in the NFL will be now that teams are more willing to run the read option with them. I've got to think it's not going to be much longer than the life of a RB.
