Anybody else playing this year? Game one of what is my hopeful swan song and league title defense is tonight. Hoping to be joining cotton in the tee-ball coaching ranks in 2014.
Have played military base leagues for years..........this is my first year in a civilian city league..........thoroughly enjoy it
My directorate brought home the trophy for the sixth time in a row last Thursday. Stats for three games: scored 76 run and gave up 7.
I played in a league for a while, but there were too many guys who played ball in college and took it WAY too seriously. I just wanted to drink and enjoy the outdoors.
This probably explains why I couldn't make varsity football in HS. That and my complete lack of athletic ability.
I was just messing with you. Navy softball was pretty comical. Ships played each other and the guys would be smoking/drinking while out in the field or batting. Imagine a guy batting with a cig hanging out of his mouth...
I was in a bar league. A BAR LEAGUE. and we still had jackoffs running over people at the plate and captains looking for rules to exploit in the rulebook.
Someone needs to dig up up my story about softball that I posted on here before. I'll never. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever. Ever play again.
