I'd just throw the ball straight at your face. Your natural reaction in this scenario would be to open your mouth, so I'd hope to at least knock out a few teeth.

 

I bet Card is one of the guys, that takes his bat to a machine shop to get them to shave the inside of the bat down to make it lighter

I hit off the pitching machine yesterday for shits and giggles. 63 mph from 43 feet is a lot faster now than it once was.

Good news: I hit 4 off our softball indoor facility roof after I got my timing down.

Bad news: I almost didn't make it out of bed this morning due to back pain. I think I'm in desperate need of surgery #3....

 

We play teams that do this unless you think it's normal that a solid aluminum double-walled bat breaks cleanly off in the double-walled part...

Actually, no. I know several folks who have and shake my head at them.

 

I'd have that bat at the TSSAA so fast their heads would spin.

 

Better competition on some of the larger bases..........rules and governing body is the same though

Was in a tourney about 5 years ago. We were just watching. When it happened, the coach ran onto the field to retrieve the upper part even before the play was over. Was very obvious, yet with TSSAA umpires, nothing was done.

 

last time i went to the batting cage I couldn't hit shit at 60. i used to go a whole round without missing a ball and i wasn't very good at all. yikes.

 

Reflexes aren't what they used to be, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure they do but this tournament was for AMRDEC.
