Nashville is a booming area, especially in terms of prospects, which can be good and bad. Good in that we have a better recruiting base just down I-40. Bad in that it's now a target for other schools and the people who live there often came from somewhere else without any loyalty or feeling for UT. Still, this is a good problem to have, Nashville with 5-6 recruits each year.
No big loss. Would have only had him a year as Botch Jones would have been his HC. Would have been part of the mass exodus in year 0.5.
I'm not going to have a VN meltdown or anything but it's funny how John Chavis didn't recruit for shit at Tennessee and now he's Ed Orgeron on the recruiting trail.
and Fulmer simply ignored it because he started sitting on his own ass and letting the services recruit for him.
Go f'ing figure. I want to hear from the dullards who continue to believe that Chavis "loved" Tennessee. F them, and him.
Really doesn't bother me to lose this one guy. If we also lose Justin Martin and Kyle Philips to LSU, though...
if they go, didn't want and I called it months ago. If they come, best prospects ever and I called it months ago. How do I sign up for twitter?
I can handle losing Phillips but losing Martin would suck. Tennessee helped get him straightened up and on track to get to an SEC school when others stopped recruiting him.
