i'm a dvr kind of guy...

because commercials are bad enough.

and i always check the score before i bother watching the dvr. that dictates whether i watch or delete the thing.


... i am at least curious to see what the QB play looks like early on.

 

Atlanta Sports Radio Chuck Oliver predicting 6-6; says no unit great. Says Butch will be the hot topic going into next years SEC Media days. At 6-6 he better not be at next years media days.

 

He better not be coaching November much less media days.

 

His replacement will be the hot topic if he goes 6-6.

 

surely he's replaced if he goes 6-6. Particularly because that means he is sitting at 5 or 6 losses with several weeks to go.

Yeah i see no way he's back at 6-6. Depending on who the losses are to, 7-5 may get him fired too.

If he's 8-4, he's back another year, IMO.

As I've said before I hope somehow he overachieves for once, wins 11 games, then he jumps ship at the end of the season. We win both ways. Recruiting doesn't slip, we start looking stable as a program again and Currie will at least be in a position to make a good hire. It's all wishful thinking of course, but would be the most ideal situation.

 

Did he have a prediction for UGA and UF?

 

He thinks that UGA will win the East while everyone else predicts Florida.

 

I'm picking UGA.

Think UF tanks.

8-4 and tack on a shitty bowl win for 9.

 

I'm not sure he survives to get 7 wins total.

If he's 2-5, he's done right? Surely. And if he is only winning 6 or 7 wins, surely a lot of those-- most of them-- will come in November?

Holy crap, this could be his Waterloo. A Georgia Tech loss would be the beginning of the end.

 

0-4 to start in SEC play gets him canned, right? Tell me yes.

 

I won't be even slightly upset if they lose to Tech.

 

If he doesn't get railroaded for 0-4 start in the SEC, there is no hope.

 

GT and UF either set this thing off in a direction he can't recover from or buys him one more year.

And neither team is very good.
