We look like garbage tonight. These announcers don’t recognize what a big deal Springer is. The studio guys saying we need to get Springer involved in transition made me want to go through the screen.

Pons's second foul was really cheap IMO. Barnes took him out for the rest of the half to spot Florida a few baskets.

 

Basketball coverage has been really hurt by the guys not being in there.

 

Nobody really cares about ESPN's random studio hosts. If they aren't going to pay attention to the games, what's the point in having them cut in? Just do promos for other games or highlights. Remote broadcasting has been around for long enough that it shouldn't be an excuse at this point. Of course, they're still letting [penis] Vitale call games, so broadcast quality obviously isn't a focus.
